CIRCLEVILLE – We all know its about that time. Pumpkin season is here and the giant pumpkin growers are weighing in across the country. This huge pumpkin was grown by Steve Geddes (Hanson, MA), at a whopping 2,528 LBS! This pumpkin has become the heaviest pumpkin ever grown in the US. Check out the video, seems like Circleville has to step up and beat the giant fruit!
Geddes is officially the record holder for the biggest pumpkin in the U.S., but Mathias Willemijns of Belgium officially holds the world record for heaviest pumpkin back in October of 2106 for a 2,624 pound pumpkin.
Just in case you guys wanted to share this story, thought it was really cool. Last night at the Deerfield fair there was a new U.S record pumpkin weighed at 2528 pounds beating the previous one of 2363 pounds. It was grown by a grower of Steve geddes From N.H. pic.twitter.com/B2aSKqYsKp
