LANCASTER – Today you get the opportunity to visit a historical location and celebrate some holiday cheer.
Built-in 1824 Rock Mill was one of a dozen grist mills in the area that power source was water generated by the Hocking River. The mill was in operation until around 1905. the mill then was left abandoned for almost a hundred years until the Fairfield county parks took possession of the building and decided to attempt to restore the historical landmark.
Today you can visit this mill and its season celebration. The mill is decorated and they offer all that come Cookies, hot chocolate, hot and cold cider, coffee, and peppermint treats will be served to visitors. Kids (of all ages) can make a craft and get a fun coloring page.
