November 12, 2020
Deputies responded to a Zwickle Rd. residence for a violation of a protection order complaint. When deputies arrived the suspect had fled the area. After investigation, deputies requested a warrant be issued for the suspect.
November 14, 2020
Deputies responded to the parking lot of the American Legion in Murray City for a fight. When deputies arrived they learned that Sandra L. Shover, 52, Athens was very intoxicated and had begun arguing with the person taking her home. Because of the argument, the person left her in the parking lot. Without anyone to care for Shover, she was charged with Disorderly Conduct by intoxication and transported to the SEORJ for a 6 hour hold.
November 14, 2020
Deputies responded to a domestic violence complaint at a SR 56 residence. After investigation, deputies arrested Shawn M. Shultz, 40, New Plymouth for Domestic Violence and Assault and transported him to the SEORJ.
November 15, 2020
Deputies responded to an argument at a Parkway Dr. residence. No violence occurred and no charges were filed, but deputies told the parties to separate and warned all the parties for disorderly conduct since it was the second time in a few hours the deputies had been called for the same argument.

Deputies responded to an Old McArthur Rd. residence for a criminal damaging complaint. The complainant told deputies that their tires had been cut and they knew who had done it and they had previously reported a separate incident earlier. The investigation is ongoing.
November 14, 2020
Deputies retrieved a dog at large from Maysville-Greendale Rd. and secured it at the dog shelter. The deputy dog warden released the dog to the owner on Monday November 16th. Charges for failure to register and dog at large were to be issued.
November 16, 2020
A SR 678 resident came to the Sheriff’s Office to report an incident of menacing. The complainant told deputies that when they were driving to work they passed a vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle pulled up beside them a short time later and flipped him off. A short time later the person came to their place of employment and began threatening them and had to be restrained and was asked to leave. The case was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.
November 16, 2020
A Maysville-Greendale Rd. resident came to the Sheriff’s Office to report the theft of a motor vehicle. The complainant told deputies that they were in the process of selling the vehicle to another person, but they took it before it was purchased. In investigating the matter, it was learned the vehicle had been crashed in Fairfield County and the owner was told to contact OSP Post 23. The case remains under investigation.
November 17, 2020
Deputies responded to a SR 664 rental cabin for an argument. After investigating the matter, deputies learned there was no violence or threats. No charges were filed and the parties agreed to be civil.
