On May 16, 2024, at approximately 1:08 PM, law enforcement officials in Chillicothe responded to a report of an incident involving falsification of a public official, criminal damaging/endangering, and criminal trespass. The incident occurred on South Bridge Street.
Several Deputies were dispatched to May’s Trailer Court in Ross County, Ohio, following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they encountered a juvenile male victim who claimed to have been stabbed. However, upon examination, it was found that the injuries sustained by the juvenile were inconsistent with his initial account of events.
Further investigation revealed that the juvenile had been injured while allegedly committing a criminal offense and had falsified his story. As a result, charges were filed against the juvenile in connection with the incident.
Authorities continue to investigate the matter to ensure that appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the law.
