Chillicothe, Ohio: November 8, 2023 –– In 2021, Industrial Reliability & Repair, LLC announced plans to expand their business in Chillicothe, Ohio. With an investment of over $180,000, the company increased its office space and added four new jobs. The expansion was supported by a JobsOhio Inclusion Grant of $25,000.

An Ohio-based company founded in 2004, Industrial Reliability & Repair (IRR) is an industrial fabrication, repair and installation firm servicing primarily paper mills and chemical plants. The firm manufactures and provides products for plant maintenance, upgrades and shutdowns. Headquartered in Chillicothe, IRR operates from multiple locations across the U.S.

“We were grateful to receive a $25,000 JobsOhio Inclusion Grant for our office expansion at our Chillicothe, Ohio headquarters. The expansion allowed for IRR to provide additional office space and create new jobs in Ross County,” said McKenzie Gullion, Director of Financial Management at Industrial Reliability & Repair.

“We committed to retaining 26 jobs and creating 4 new jobs,” she said. “Since this project was initiated, we have added approximately 15 additional jobs out of our Chillicothe headquarters. Our revenue has doubled to approximately $40M a year.”

The office expansion supported the growth of Industrial Reliability & Repair’s team and customer base and positioned the company for additional growth. Earlier this year, IRR announced a second expansion with an investment of $250,000 in their production operation in Chillicothe. Through this investment, IRR will focus on equipment fabrication for large manufacturing facilities.

“Industrial Reliability & Repair is thrilled to expand our capabilities to better serve our customers and more importantly, create job opportunities in Southern Ohio,” said Gullion, “which is not only IRR’s home, but my home as well.”

The JobsOhio Inclusion Grant exists to provide financial support for eligible projects in designated distressed communities and/or for businesses owned by underrepresented populations across the state.

“I believe these grant opportunities, like the JobsOhio Inclusion Grant, are crucial to businesses in our region to expand to create additional jobs, which in turn provides a better service to customers,” said Gullion.
