CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The Inspiration Station, an initiative of the Pickaway County Community Foundation (PCCF), is partnering with COSI, Central Ohio’s premier children’s science center, to bring the Inventor’s Playground to Circleville during the statewide COSI Science Festival.

The hands-on STEM event will be held Friday, May 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Inspiration Station. The event is part of a four-day celebration of science across Ohio, running from April 30 through May 3.

“We are so proud and excited to partner with COSI to bring this event to the Inspiration Station and our local families,” said Alexis Conrad, Executive Director of PCCF. “Opportunities like this are exactly why we have spent years developing the Inspiration Station, and we aim to bring this kind of energy once the museum fully opens.”

Inventor’s Playground offers a hands-on adventure for elementary and middle school students and their families. Young innovators can tinker, build, experiment, and create by designing simple machines, launching rockets, piecing together dinosaurs, and more. Attendees will also receive COSI Kits to continue their discovery at home.

“We’re thrilled to once again welcome families into the Inspiration Station, providing fun, engaging activities that spark curiosity, wonder, and joy,” Conrad added.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at yourpccf.org.

The Inspiration Station is a community-driven resource aimed at stimulating imaginative exploration in an all-inclusive environment. Designed to foster physical, mental, and emotional growth through hands-on learning and creativity, the 9,000-square-foot facility is located at 1170 N. Court Street, attached to the Pickaway County Library.
