Johnny “Jr” Rutherford, age 73 of Columbus, passed away August 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 28,1943 in Bristol, TN to the late Art and Alice Rutherford. He was a truck driver and a US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Preceded in death by brother Joe Rutherford and sisters and brothers. He is survived by his wife Ada Rutherford; children Johnny Scott (Mona), Joe (Laura), Kimberly and Dude (Kim) Rutherford; sisters Margaret Hall and Lillian Ball; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Sylvia (Jim) Kinnaird; numerous nieces and nephews.
