LOGAN, OH – Experience the beauty of winter in one of Ohio’s most scenic landscapes by joining the 59th Annual Hocking Hills State Park Winter Hike on Saturday, January 18. This six-mile trek through the stunning Hocking Hills region promises to be a memorable adventure, with the possibility of snow-covered trails, frozen waterfalls, and towering hemlocks blanketed in winter’s charm.

Event Highlights:

  • Rolling Start: The hike begins with a rolling start from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hocking Hills State Park Visitors Center.
  • Complimentary Refreshments: Warm up with free bean soup and cornbread at Cedar Falls, and end your hike with hot chocolate and doughnuts at Ash Cave.
  • Winter Hike Sticker: Participants who complete the hike will receive a limited-edition Winter Hike Series sticker (while supplies last).

  • Dress for the Weather: Layer up, cover exposed skin, and bring water to stay hydrated.
  • Carpooling: Due to limited parking, carpooling is encouraged. Overflow parking is available at Hocking Hills Elementary, with a shuttle service to the park.
