Chillicothe, OH — The Kiwanis Club of Chillicothe is gearing up for a delightful Kid’s Day event set to take place on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Yoctangee Park. Held at the Kiwanis Shelter, the event promises a day brimming with fun, creativity, and entertainment for children of all ages.
The lineup for the day features an array of engaging activities designed to captivate and amuse:
- Bounce House: An inflatable wonderland where kids can jump and play.
- Rock Painting: A chance to unleash creativity with colorful rock painting.
- Sand Art: Create unique and vibrant sand art masterpieces.
- Pot a Plant: Learn about gardening and take home a potted plant.
- Mobile Library: Discover new books and enjoy storytelling sessions.
- Petting Zoo: Get up close with friendly animals.
- Children’s Fingerprint Identification: Provided by the Ross County Sheriff’s Department, this service enhances child safety.
- Special Appearance by Paw Patrol: Meet and greet the beloved characters from Paw Patrol.
