LANCASTER – On April 8, 2019, at approximately 10:51am, the Lancaster Police Department received a 911 call from a female stating she located two male subjects suffering from stab wounds at 112 West Walnut Street, Lancaster.
Upon arrival, Lancaster Police Department patrol officers secured the area and found a deceased male inside 112 West Walnut Street. Additional persons located on scene were interviewed by the Lancaster Police Department’s detective bureau. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene and processed evidence for further examination.
Further investigation revealed, Victor Lamar White (age 52), of Lancaster, died as a result of injuries suffered during an altercation with, Chad Allen Kerens (age 39), of Lancaster, earlier this morning. Kerens was taken in to custody and arrested for the murder of Victor Lamar White at approximately 7:15pm.
The investigation of this altercation is still on going and we urge anyone with additional information to contact the Lancaster Police Department’s detective bureau. If preferred, information can be given anonymously.
