Lancaster Police Seize Large Drug Cache, Arrest Driver on Multiple Charges

Lancaster, Ohio – December 11, 2024 – A traffic stop in Lancaster led to the seizure of over 300 grams of methamphetamine and the arrest of a local man on drug-related charges.

At approximately 4:50 p.m. on December 11, Officer Zackary Johnson (#1750) initiated a traffic stop in the 2000 block of E. Main Street. During the stop, the driver, Patrick Likovic, was removed from the vehicle while Officer Austin Pierce (#953) deployed K9 Omega, who alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 313 grams of methamphetamine and 6 grams of fentanyl. Following further questioning, officers obtained a search warrant for a residence in Perry County, Ohio. The search resulted in the discovery of three firearms and an additional 56 grams of methamphetamine.

Likovic was arrested and charged with possession of drugs before being transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
