Larry R. Dietrich, 82, of Circleville, died December 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born on May 25, 1935 in Columbus, the son of John and Elizabeth (Miller) Dietrich. He was a 1953 graduate of the Johnstown High School and a member of the 53 Club. He was the owner/operator of Circle D. Recreation. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, inducted in the Ohio Bowling Hall of Fame for meritorious service, member of South East Ohio Bowling Proprietors Association, member of Bowling Proprietors Association of Ohio where he served both as President as well as many other offices and boards and member of the Bowling Proprietors Association of America where he served on many committees.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Blackston) Dietrich; children, Tim (Alicia) Dietrich; Tracy Ann (David) Frew, Toni Elizabeth (Lee Mathena) Burns, Terry Pescosolido, Carrie (Joe Berrigan) Pescosolido and Christy (Derek Conboy) Boltenhouse; 14 grandchildren, Miranda Gentry, Brittany (Chad) Rittgers, Megan (Travis) Parks, Evan Bogden, Evie Shaffer, Raquel Pescosolido, Mira Pescosolido, Makenna Poling, Anthony Ooten, Kaylee Smith, Hanna Boltenhouse, Alex Miller, Addison Pescosolido and Drey Conboy and sisters, Liz Cornell, Judi (Richard) Gieseck and Marlene Jacoby. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 12, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Machnik officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 134 W. Mound St. Circleville, OH 43113.
