Leonard Hoffman Jr., 88, of Chillicothe, formally of Circleville passed away on September 13, 2017. He was born on March 8, 1929 in Buffalo, NY to Leonard and Marian (Kessler) Hoffman Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Smith) Hoffman, grandson Lonnie Dean brother Richard Hoffman and sister Lucille Hogg. Leonard a US Army Veteran served in Korea and retired from DuPont. He is survived by daughters Linda (Richard) Dean, Polly (Charlie) Rideout, grandchildren Heather (Ashley) Drake, Gretchen (Ben) Scaff, Michael (Maryann) Thomas and Cathy Imler, 12 great grandchildren and by one great, great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Gerhard Kraus officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
