Being able to vote for my dad is surreal. I have seen his tireless work on this campaign, and could not be prouder to support him. In races such as this, it is often hard to separate candidates from each other, as many of them have similar ideals and beliefs. Intentionality often gets lost in the mix. Why should one vote for a specific candidate over the other? What differentiates them?
When I think of why my dad stands out in the pack, I think of his hope. No one dreams bigger and works harder to make those dreams come true than my dad. The beauty of his hope is that it has nothing to do with a personal agenda. His hope is for the people of the second district and the people of the United States, not for his personal gain. He has never been willing to back down on his personal beliefs, and I know he never will. If there is one thing I know about my dad, it is that he is a man of his word.
This area has always meant so much to our family, and his bravery to step outside of southern Ohio to advocate for our people reflects his commitment to us. I urge you to vote for the candidate who will instill hope, keep his word, and support you in our district: David Taylor for Congress.
