LOGAN ELM, Ohio — Logan Elm High School celebrated a decisive 42-14 victory over Westfall High School on Friday night, with a standout performance from the offensive line earning Brock Caplinger the Hugh White Player of the Game honor.

The Braves took control early, establishing a strong lead in the first quarter and further extending their advantage with 21 points by halftime. Westfall managed to score 7 points in the first half and added another touchdown shortly after the break, but Logan Elm responded with a powerful second-half surge, adding 21 unanswered points to seal the win.

Caplinger, Logan Elm’s center, has been a crucial component of the team’s offensive line. His performance was highlighted by the coaching staff for his significant role in both protecting the quarterback and opening up running lanes. “Brock’s impact on the game goes beyond the stat sheet,” said a team spokesperson. “His efforts and leadership are evident to everyone who sees him play.”

In terms of statistics, Logan Elms quarterback, A. Walters, completed 16 of 21 passes for 231 yards and one touchdown but was intercepted once. On the ground, M. Bock led the rushing game with 190 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. J. Marcum was Braves top receiver with 93 yards on seven catches.
