LOGAN ELM, Ohio — In an exciting matchup Friday night, Logan Elm High School defeated Circleville High School 35-17, thanks to standout performances by players of the game Aaron Walters and Michael Bock.
Quarterback Aaron Walters continued his impressive season, surpassing 5,000 career passing yards last week and adding another 177 yards with no interceptions in tonight’s game. His sharp performance was a key factor in Logan Elm’s victory.
Running back Michael Bock also delivered a remarkable performance, rushing for 166 yards on 30 carries and scoring four touchdowns. His dynamic play on the ground proved crucial in securing the win for Logan Elm.
In addition to their individual achievements, other players made significant contributions. Wide receiver Nemiah Waugh caught three passes for 45 yards, while Keegan Diehl and Gavin Hoover also contributed with two and four catches, respectively.
Defensively, Logan Elm was led by Bryce Perkins, who recorded 10 tackles, and Justin Marcum, who not only had five tackles but also an interception and a blocked kick.
Circleville High School struggled to get on the board. Despite their efforts, they were unable to match the offensive firepower of Logan Elm.
The game also featured solid special teams play for Logan Elm, with kicker Maggie Wilson perfect on extra points and punter Jacob Hunter averaging 31 yards per punt.
Logan Elm’s victory is a testament to their strong team performance and the standout efforts of their top players.
