OHIO – Heritage Ohio board member Steve Coon, who purchased the Longaberger building in Newark in 2017 has announced that they will renovate the Longaberger building into a hotel.
The announcement comes after many years of the unique building standing empty. After the Heritage Ohio’s Legacy Circle Reception on Monday Ohio State Senator Jy Hottinger announced on twitter the decision.
The unique building was built and used by The Longaberger Company for decades before in 2o16 when they moved out. The company went out of business in 2018.
