The Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced the conviction of Jonathan Leach for two (2) counts of rape following a three (3) day Jury Trial in the Madison County Common Pleas Court.
Earlier this year, an allegation was made that Leach had inappropriate sexual conduct with a juvenile under ten (10) years of age. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division investigated the allegations, resulting in Leach’s arrest.
Immediately following the conviction, Madison County Common Pleas Court Judge Eamon Costello sentenced Leach to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The case was prosecuted by Chief Assistant Prosecutor Michael Klamo. Evidence in the case was analyzed by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Crime Laboratory
