MARION, Ohio (February 24, 2024) – A serious incident occurred at the Marion County Fairgrounds Coliseum tonight around 8:00 pm. Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and firefighters from the Marion City Fire Department responded to reports of a 56-year-old male being struck by a Monster Truck.
Details of the Incident:
- The victim, a member of the event’s safety staff, was reportedly run over by one of the participating Monster Trucks.
- Medics from the Marion City Fire Department transported the injured man to Marion General Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later airlifted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for further treatment.
