CIRCLEVILLE – Theres a secret in our hometown and we don’t talk about it enough, but people are suffering.
There are people in this town that are sleeping under bridges, in tents, sometimes in the lobby of the post office. Cars parked around the city have become mobile apartments with people struggling to survive.
We don’t talk about it, but if you read the daily police reports you will find calls to police of people found sleeping that are asked to, “move along.” because they are on peoples property.
Where do they go? Where will they stay? As temperatures drop do we have a heart for these people and how do we help them?
The Mayor of Cirlceville Mayor Mcllroy will be having a townhall meeting November 25th at 7:00 pm at Circleville High School to discuss these issues. Please attend and help be part of the solution by giving suggestions to the city on how to handle this issue.
