Chillicothe – Michael A. Ward, 27, of Chillicothe, died January 16, 2022 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born July 4, 1994 in Chillicothe to Glenn Michael and Marsha Ellen Shaw Ward, who survive. On September 12, 2020 he married Alissa M. Bates Ward, who survives. In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include his grandfather, Mike Ward; a cousin, Megan Seymour, who is like a sister; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Betty Shaw, Charlotte Ward and Barbara Ward; and uncles, Don Seymour and Tim Shaw.
Michael was an Eagle Scout, and avid gamer, and loved the outdoors. His pride and joy was his 2017 Dodge Challenger.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, with his uncle, Marvin Shaw officiating.
