Pickaway County, OH – Yesterday, several residents inquired about the visible presence of Lancaster police in Pickaway County. The Pickaway Sheriff’s Department has now revealed that they hosted a US-23 interdiction, a multi-agency operation aimed at combating drug trafficking and crime.
Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey announced the successful results of the operation, which involved surveillance and multiple traffic stops in Pickaway County. The joint effort between the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, Circleville Police Department, South Central Ohio Major Crimes Unit, and the Ohio Investigative Unit yielded:

- 52 warnings
- 2 arrests
- 31 grams of Methamphetamine seized
- 2 grams of Fentanyl seized
- 1 gun seized
