Multiple Break-Ins Reported Across Ross County Overnight

ROSS COUNTY, OH – Authorities are investigating a series of break-ins and thefts reported overnight in Frankfort and Londonderry, according to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.

Frankfort Targeted in String of Burglaries

Deputies responded to at least four separate break-ins in Frankfort on February 28, 2025, with reports of stolen property, forced entries, and vandalized structures:

  • North Main Street: A barn was broken into, and a riding lawn mower was stolen.
  • Musselman Station Road: A vacant structure was forcibly entered, with stolen items reported.
  • North Second Street: Authorities responded to another break-in and theft complaint.
  • County Road 550: A theft and breaking and entering case dating back to February 27th is under investigation.

Criminal Trespass Reported in Londonderry

In a separate incident, a property owner on US 50 in Londonderry reported a known male trespasser near a truck. The individual fled the scene after being confronted. Deputies have launched an investigation.
