
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – March 5, 2025 – Several individuals facing felony charges appeared before Judge Matthew L. Chafin in the Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday. Charges ranged from felony theft and harassment to operating a motor vehicle under the influence and non-support of dependents.
Felony Theft & OVI Cases
Andre Lee Daniels Jr., 69, appeared in court on a felony theft (F-5) charge. Daniels pleaded not guilty, and a pretrial hearing has been set for March 13, 2025.
Marris A. Brown, 59, who is currently incarcerated in Pickaway County Jail, faced two separate cases for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (OVI). In one case, Brown pleaded guilty, while the second charge was dismissed. The court has scheduled sentencing for a later date.
Harassment & Non-Support of Dependents
Robert L. Lawer, 24, from Mt. Sterling, faced a harassment with a bodily substance (F-5) charge. Lawer entered a guilty plea, and the court has ordered a pre-sentence investigation (PSI) report before sentencing.
Both Jennifer M. Ganz, 48, of Blanchester, and Raymond L. Fraley, 46, of Portsmouth, were charged with non-support or contributing to non-support of dependents (F-5). Their cases have been continued, with a PSI report scheduled for April 16, 2025.
The Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas will continue hearings in the coming weeks as defendants move through the judicial process.
