ROSS – One person was killed in Bainbridge Saturday morning from gunshot wounds now police are searching for the shooter.
According to Ross County Sheriff department around 5 am emergency services responded to a distress 911 call of a man shot in the area of Third Street in Bainbridge. When law enforcement arrived they found 32, year-old Rocky Williams unconscious and lifeless. Medical personnel tried to resuscitate the victim but he died hours later.
Sheriff has ruled the death as a homicide, and said the suspect in the shooting fled the scene and is still on the loose.
Sheriff said that this is a drug deal gone bad, and would not release any more details on how he knew it was a drug deal.
Law Enforcement says that they believe that have identified the shooter a Thomas “Wyatt” Pooler, 25 who is wanted in the homicide. Law enforcement is asking if you see the man to immediately call 911
