Nascar News- Driver Ryan Newman has been taken to an area hospital following a crash while leading on the last lap of the Daytona 500.
Newman, is the driver of the number 6 Roush Fenway race car .
There has been no update on his condition at this point.
The video below shows just how serious the crash was as Newmans car went airborne and proceeded to be slammed in the roof above the drivers compartment by another car.
