Circleville, OH — Bojangles, the popular Southern fast-food chain known for its crispy fried chicken and signature buttermilk biscuits, is officially making its way to Circleville.
After much speculation and anticipation, the chain has confirmed plans to build a brand-new location in the city. Last year, rumors swirled when Bojangles representatives were spotted scouting potential sites, including the former Del Taco building. However, that location was ultimately claimed by Huey Magoo’s.
Instead of repurposing an existing building, Bojangles has opted for a ground-up construction project in the new Gateway development on South Court Street. The new restaurant will be located near the intersection of South Court Street and the U.S. 23 Connector Road, just north of McDonald’s. The site, formerly occupied by a school, now includes a Valvoline service center and is expected to attract additional businesses in the future.
With Bojangles’ expansion into Ohio, residents of Circleville and surrounding areas will soon get a taste of its famous Southern comfort food, further adding to the city’s growing dining options.
