CIRCLEVILLE TOWNSHIP – Eastern Truck and Trailer opened in Circleville Township just off US-23 at 177 Neville Street on June 1st.

The new business aims at servicing trucks and trailers throughout Pickaway county and beyond. The company started in November of 2000 by Neil Eddington and Trevor Prince co-founded Baltimore Truck & Trailer who have 65 years plus in the transportation industry. The first location was built in Hebron Ohio then the company expanded into two locations in Columbus (Obetz and Columbus), and now Circleville. The company also manages a fleet of 12 fully equipped on-site mobile units servicing the
state.

Eastern Truck and Trailer said that coming to Pickaway county was a no-brainer with companies like PPG, Sofidel, US-23 truck traffic, and connections to the area.

“One of our owners lives in Pickaway County and several people who were traveling to our Southern Columbus location from this area. With that in mind and the need for our services in the area, we found the location fixed it up, and here we are. We built this business by understanding our customer’s needs and doing whatever it takes to minimize downtime and keep our customer’s fleet on the road. Whether it’s a mile down the road at Sofidel or across the state our company has you covered and will get you back on the road.”

The company purchased the 177 Neville Street location formally Davy Motors location on US-23. They upgraded the building and offer several large bays at the location for work.

Yesterday Representative Brian Stewart was on site to present Eastern Truck and Trailer with an accommodation from the Ohio House to commemorate their grand opening. Chamber Executive Director Marlee Martin also presented the team with accommodation from Frank LaRose, the Ohio Secretary of State.
