New Stops Added to Circleville’s Free Bus Service

CIRCLEVILLE, OH (June 25, 2024) – The Pickaway County Community Action Organization (PICCA) is expanding its Flex Bus Schedule in Circleville by adding two new stops. Beginning July 1, the free bus service will include stops at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in the Watt Plaza Shopping Center at 120 Morris Road and at Twin Oaks Apartments at 935 S. Court St.

The Pickaway County Transportation Coordinating Committee unanimously approved these new stops on Monday, according to Matthias Rickerd, PICCA’s Transit Services director.

“Our community requested more stops in the city and we responded to these requests,” said Rickerd. “We are always looking for ways to improve our services and better serve our community.”

The Flex Bus operates on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the new hourly schedule starting July 1 as follows:

  • :00 – Walmart (south door)
  • :05 – Jobs One Stop
  • :10 – PICCA
  • :12 – Ohio Heights Apartments
  • :20 – Kroger
  • :22 – Apple Ridge Apartments
  • :27 – Pickaway County Family YMCA
  • :35 – OhioHealth Berger Hospital
  • :40 – Pickaway County Library
  • :45 – Ollie’s Bargain Outlet
  • :50 – Pickaway County Courthouse
  • :55 – Twin Oaks Apartments

This enhancement to the bus service aims to provide more convenience and accessibility to the residents of Circleville, ensuring that essential destinations are within easy reach.
