ODOT Crews Rescue Great Horned Owl Injured on Side of Roadway

MADISON – Madison crews who were cleaning up litter during Earth Day were able to do something even more for the natural environment.

Today, ODOT crews in Madison Co. found an injured great horned owl on the side of the road while picking up litter along I-70. ODOT was able to work with @ohiodnr to rescue it so it can safely recover at a rehabilitation center in Yellow Springs. #EarthDay2022 🌏🦉👷🏼‍♂️ pic.twitter.com/Wm7woGXWBG
