COLUMBUS, OH – The National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM) is inviting all Vietnam War veterans to attend a special “Welcome Home” Ceremony on March 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. to commemorate National Vietnam War Veterans Day. The event, held in the museum’s Great Hall, marks the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon and will pay tribute to those who served.

U.S. Navy Veteran Kimberly M. Mitchell will serve as the keynote speaker. A Vietnamese orphan adopted by a U.S. airman, Mitchell attended the U.S. Naval Academy before embarking on a distinguished military career and becoming a strong advocate for veterans. She has led several veteran-focused organizations, including the Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services and the Veterans Village of San Diego, and currently serves on multiple advisory boards dedicated to supporting service members.

The event’s emcee will be Emily Compagno, co-host of Fox News’ “Outnumbered” and author of the New York Times No. 1 bestseller “Under His Wings.” Following the ceremony, Compagno will host a book signing for attendees.

Admission to the National Veterans Memorial and Museum will be reduced to $5 for the day, while the Welcome Home Ceremony is free to attend.
