COLUMBUS – A Ohio State Defensive End Haskell Garrett has been shot overnight and taken to local hospitals.
According to Columbus Police he was shot in the face with one bullet at close range that traveled through the cheeks in his face.
This morning, August 30, 2020 at 12:28am, Columbus Police responded to 411 Chittenden Ave. on a report of a shooting.
Officers found blood in the street and one shell casing by the blood.
Officers located a blood trail which led to 42 E. 11th Ave. Apt. 101 where the victim, 22-year-old Haskell Garrett, was found suffering from a through and through gunshot wound to the cheeks on his face. He was transported to OSU Wexner Medical Center in stable condition.
