FAIRFIELD – Fairfield County Sheriff’s office is reporting that an operation aimed at protecting retail from thefts has netted eleven people.
Operation Targeting Retail Thefts Results in Eleven Arrests on January 21, 2022, the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau conduct an operation to pro-actively address the problem of retail theft in the City of Canal Winchester.
Members of the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau, with assistance of members of the Fairfield County SWAT Team and the South Central Major Crimes Unit, carried out operations at a retail location in the City of Canal Winchester to assist local asset protection personnel in identifying and deterring retail thefts and apprehending offenders.
During the operation, 11 arrests were made at one major retailer location.
Those arrested were:

Yuphin Saidee – 33 – Canal Winchester, Ohio
Dakota Lute – 24 – Ashville, Ohio Ashley Needham – 33 – Lockbourne. Ohio
Pamela Tackett – 66 – Columbus, Ohio
Jalen Burks – 27 – Columbus, Ohio
Richard Ferguson – 59 – Columbus, Ohio
Caitlin Costin – 34 – Canal Winchester, Ohio
Ashley McDaniel – 25 – Lithopelis, Ohio
Thomas Quanlavong – 38 – Columbus, Ohio
Lisa Tackett – 38 – Columbus, Ohio
The charges for those arrested include theft and drug offenses. All Arrestees are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
