CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Court of Common Pleas, under the supervision of Judge P. Randall Knece, has set pretrial hearings for several individuals facing serious charges. All pretrials are scheduled for August 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
The defendants include:
- Cory M. Adams, 35, of [Address Redacted], Circleville, OH. Adams faces a charge of having weapons under disability. He has entered a plea of not guilty and is scheduled for pretrial on August 9.
- Amber N. Kaufman, 33, of [Address Redacted], Orient, OH. Kaufman is charged with sexual battery. She has also pleaded not guilty and will appear for her pretrial on August 9.
- Matthew V. Pettibone, 45, of [Address Redacted], S. Bloomfield, OH. Pettibone is accused of having an unlawful interest in a public contract. His plea of not guilty leads to a pretrial hearing on August 9.
- Jeffrey Lee Stanley, 39, of [Address Redacted], S. Bloomfield, OH. Stanley faces charges of safecracking and theft. He has pleaded not guilty and will be at the pretrial hearing on August 9.
- Perion Wilson, 18, currently at the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility. Wilson is charged with two counts of assault. He has pleaded not guilty, and his pretrial is also scheduled for August 9.
The pretrial hearings will take place at the Court of Common Pleas, and each defendant’s case will be reviewed to determine the next steps in their legal proceedings.
