PICKAWAY – The Pickaway county emergency shelter will open tonight for homeless people in the area for the first time ever.
Check-in time for the shelter will be 9 pm and guests will not be admitted after 915 pm so the shelter is asking for people to be on time. The shelter is located at 436 E. Ohio Street, Circleville 43113
The Pickaway emergency shelter will open only during times of bitter cold when temperatures drop below freezing. This organization has been an effort of many local groups attempting to help the homeless situation in our area, but they are still in need of volunteers.
