Pickaway County – A gun threat has been reported by the school this morning at Teays Valley
“According to the school, a threat became aware last night and the school and the Sheriff’s department reacted to it. Making sure the child who made the threat did not come to school today an
“Good morning this is Teays Valley superintendent Kyle Wolf Late last night the district was made aware of a possible threat by a student at Walnut Elementary. The rumor was that a student was going to bring a gun to school today. Teays Valley school resource officers in the Pickaway county sheriffs department were made aware of this room and have been actively looking into this rumor. Since late last night the student involved will not be at school today while the sheriffs office and the Teays Valley administration investigate this rumor.”
Last year around the same time we reported that a 5th grader had brought a loaded gun to school.
