PICKAWAY – Road conditions caused the area of SR-56 just east of Kingston Pike to move down to one lane, now the roadway will close for over a week for repairs
In March the City of Circleville reported that the area of the roadway was already earmarked for ODOT construction, but due to recent rains, making the roadway is unstable in the area. ODOT responded and closed one lane of travel since then. Now on May 30th, they will close the roadway to make proper repairs to stabilize the slope adjacent to Hominy Creek and fix the roadway.
ODOT reports that the roadway will be closed for nine days, weather permitting. To get around that area use Hitler 1 roadway to Kingston Pike.
