PICKAWAY – Pickaway County is now in the red level according to Gov Dewine.
Several border counties including Fairfield and Franklin have been pushed to the red level also.
Dewine says the reason for the red level is because of community spread and increases in cases and hospitalization. Early signs of medical attention has happened in the county. That one restaurant and a faith based church had community spread in Pickaway County.
As of 3:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 there is a total of 217,119 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ohio and 5,102 deaths. Currently there are 3,233 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Pickaway County, 2,300 being inmates, leaving 933 local residents who have tested positive. There are 215 active local resident cases with 14 hospitalized. There are a total of 49 deaths, 37 being inmates and 12 community deaths.
