PICKAWAY – For several years Dupont has aimed its Community outreach program to support first responders in Pickaway county.
The outreach funds in the amount of $2500.00, will go towards CAT tourniquets and holders for the Deputies and Corrections Officers. This equipment will be utilized to save lives in trauma situations.
Sheriff Matthew Hafey stated “This is the third year the Sheriff’s Office has received funding from DuPont and we truly appreciate their support of law enforcement as well as fire services in the county.”
Last year the DuPont Community Outreach Funds helped to purchase new motorcycle helmets and a communications system for the Sheriff’s Motorcycle Unit.
