Pike – SHERIFF JAMES E. NELSON reports that on Thursday June 5th at 12:34 pm deputies and investigators responded to 256 Pike Lake Road in reference to checking the welfare of the resident and a dog inside a trailer. Upon making entry a body was found inside the trailer. The body is believed to be the remains of the resident of the property, Mr. Dale Gordon, age 70. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation & Identification was called in to process the scene and once processing was complete the body was sent to Montgomery County for autopsy. The investigation is continuing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
