Robert “Danny” Park, 72, of Chillicothe, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at his home following an extended illness.
Danny was born May 10, 1943, in Columbus, to the late Ralph and Helen Bowman Park.
On Feb. 1, 1964, he married the former Nancy Walker, who died June 1, 2011. On April 23, 2012, he married the former Linda Vincent Graves, who survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Tiffany (Lance) Merchant; and grandson, Colten Merchant, of Naples, Florida; granddaughter, Whitney (Michael) Braunlin of Albany, New York; stepchildren, Jeffrey (Monie) Graves of South Bloomfield, Michael (Ruth) Graves and Beth Williams, both of Chillicothe; step-grandchildren, Chad, Cara and Sky Graves of Chillicothe; sisters, Toby (Chris) Duliakis of Oregon and Cara (Mike) Bork of Washington; brothers, Dean Park, Jerry (Phyllis) Park and Sam (Kathy) Park, all of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
Danny graduated from Unioto High School. He retired from Chilpaco, where he had worked in the maintenance department and was a member of UPIU Local 988. He was also a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Danny was an avid golfer and Unioto basketball fan. He loved his family and church, and he never knew a stranger.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, North Campus, located at 400 Chamber Dr. with Pastor Shane Browning officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
