Sheila Cope, 80, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 26, 1935, in Garstang, England. She was the daughter of William and Frances Wearden.
All of Sheila’s grandchildren were the love of her life as she adored each one of them. She gave home care for many Mt. Sterling residents.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John A. Cope Sr. (Jan. 29, 2009).
She is survived by her loving children, daughter, Susan Pendall-Ehmann and husband Scott, and son, John Cope Jr. and wife Stacie, all of Williamsport; and seven grandchildren, Caitlin, Dustin, Cody, Tristen, Colton, Kevin and John.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
