Larry L. Ward, 74, of Ashville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at the Berger Hospital emergency room in Circleville.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1941, in Circleville, to the late Chester R. and Evelyn (Peters) Ward.
Larry was a lifelong farmer and was a member of The Ashville Area Heritage Society.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Rosan (McGlone) Ward of Ashville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Connie McGlone of Circleville; nieces and nephews, Doug (Tammy) McGlone of Circleville, Bonnie (Ranie) Wohnhas of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Jeff Tussing of Galloway, Brenda (Ron) Miller of Grove City and Jill (Bill) Kaikis of Westerville; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and good friends, Jules and Linda Henson, Charles and Peg Egbert, Tom and Sherri Camden and Larry and Sharon Arthur.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Harley Tussing; brother-in-law, Nolan McGlone; and by his beloved dog, Poo.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield with Pastor Vijay Buck officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville.
