Mevelyn E. Neff, 78, was called to Heaven by our great Lord on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, from the Four Seasons Rehab Center in Washington Court House.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin (Pat) and Donna Belle Crawford.
Mevelyn is temporarily leaving behind her husband of 60 years, Charles Neff; son, Kirk (Sue) Neff of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter, Carrie Ann (Nick) Betz of Mt. Sterling; brothers, Danny (Sierra) Crawford of Mt. Sterling and Michael (Sue) Crawford of Galloway; five grandchildren, Julie Betz of Mt. Sterling, Patrick Neff, Andrea (Dustin) Dryer, Megan (Justin) Olejniczak and Claire (Cory) Molineaux, all from the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area; cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and church friends.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at the church, Rev. Dortha Ross and Pastor Joe Proudfoot officiating, with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery.
The family is being served by Porter-Tidd Funeral Home of Mt. Sterling.
