Joyce Dancy, 73, of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 29, 2016.
She was born on Oct. 25, 1942, in Circleville, to George W. and Elsie (Jobe) Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Dancy.
Joyce graduated from Pickaway High School in 1960, Carnegie College in Cleveland in 1964 for medical technology and had worked as a medical technologist for 23 years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.
Joyce is survived by son, David (Katie) Dancy of Chillicothe; daughter, Carrie Kushmer of Circleville; grandchildren, Chad D. Kushmer and Kade Dancy; her brother, George W. “Bub” (Katie) Miller Jr.; and by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wellman Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Emmett Chapel Church.
