Marian K. Turner, age 78, of Lancaster, formerly of Circleville, died Feb. 24, 2016, at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born to the late Carlon C. and Vivian Slaughter Richter on Feb. 25, 1937, in Chillicothe.
Marian retired as a teacher at Brooks-Yates and director of the Pickaway County Workshop, always helping those less fortunate. She volunteered on several committees at the Lancaster Campgrounds.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Marian is survived by her sons, John (Judy) Turner of Lancaster and Rob Turner of Circleville; daughter, Amy (Nick) Smith of Lancaster; grandchildren, Lindsey (Tony) Miller, Whitney (Jon) Podzimek, John Austin Turner, Seth Turner, Sara Goodman, Tyler Goodman, Lilly Goodman, Victoria (Cody) Myers and Zoe Turner; great-grandchildren, Elaina, Owen, Ashland, Olivia, Zane, Layla Paige, and Xander Isaiah; brothers, Rick (Ramey) Richter and Gary Richter; several nieces and nephews; great-niece, Elizabeth Ann DeHart; and aunt, Mary Snyder.

Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Turner; and her parents.
