Larry G. Rowe Sr., age 60, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Oct. 20, 1955, in Mt. Sterling.
Larry’s influence on the people he met is immeasurable. Loved and admired by so many, he was a man of strength and skills that surpass understanding. He inspired us all. Life with Larry was like a never-ending car show, filled with radical (FAST), custom and beautiful creations.
All of his days were surrounded by loyal friends too many to mention. He leaves us with numerous memories and stories that will inspire generations to come. I have rarely met anyone that doesn’t have an outstanding story to share. For those of us that have known him, our worlds will be a different place without him. We love and miss him dearly. (Larry Jr.)
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Estill (Ratliff) Rowe; son, Christopher Lee Rowe; brother, Danny Rowe; and sister, Patricia Lewis.
Larry is survived by his loving family, which includes his son, Larry (Brittnee) Rowe Jr.; daughter, Laura (Wayne) Logan; fiancée, Lori Hatfield; step-children Brandon and McKaylen Collins and Sydnee and Tyler Nott; brother, Jack (Drema) Rowe; half-sister, Lisa Ellinger; grandchildren, Alexis, Gracie, Emma, Morgan and Abel; great-grandson, Jacob; and several nieces and nephews.
