Tom was a 1964 graduate of Circleville High School and a Vietnam veteran of the 121st Airborne Unit of the Air National Guard.

Tom was a hard worker and was employed as a mechanical project engineer contractor at DuPont in Circleville for over 40 years.

He was a founding member of the car club, the Roundtown Cruisers, and was a former regional executive for the Ohio Valley Sports Car Club of America. Tom enjoyed bowling, working on cars and restoring them; also racing them, going to car shows and sharing his knowledge of vehicles with others. Tom also loved his BMW cars and motorcycles. He traveled 38,000 miles over the U.S. with his wife and friends in the early 1980s.

Tom’s greatest joy in life was his family: he came to love his step-daughter, Stephanie, when he married her mother, Susan, and has so enjoyed the grandchildren she has given them.
