CIRCLEVILLE – The county’s youngest victims will now have a small bit of comfort at emergency scenes thanks to the efforts of a group of women from the Circleville Presbyterian Church.

The volunteers, including Margaret Parker, Marion Hallum, Linda Knisley and Sandy Edgar, created handmade toys and recently donated them to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

The toys, called “Little Bits,” are intended for deputies to keep in their cruisers and distribute to children at accident scenes, drug houses or other scenes where frightened children may need a comforting distraction.
