Arthur Edwin Davis Sr., 79, of Circleville, passed away July 4, 2016.
He was born on Dec. 1, 1936, in Chillicothe, to Charles and Helen (Blue) Davis.
Art was a 1954 Circleville High School graduate, served in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class, was a life member of AMVETS Post 2256, and retired from The Container Corporation of American.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Jesse Porter; and his wife of 56 years, Beverly (Boothe) Davis.
Arthur is survived by step-sisters, Lynn Nasvik and Paula Menhenett and their families; his children, Tammy (Brent) Bowers, Art Davis, Vivian (Sam) Pound and Terri Davis (Susan Hart); daughter-in-law, Tammy Davis; grandchildren, Jessica Bowers, Kayla (Dereck) King and Jacob Davis (Lexi Summers); and great-grandchildren, Rhagan, Rosin, Silo, Karis and Taygen. He also leaves behind his constant feline companion, Suzie.
A family graveside service was held on Monday, July 11, 2016 in Floral Hills Cemetery.
